US Electricity Prices: June 2024 Report
The short answer
The average US residential electricity rate was 16.4¢/kWh in June 2024, down 0.1% from May and up 1.8% from June 2023. Louisiana had the cheapest electricity (11.5¢) and Hawaii the most expensive (42.7¢), while Missouri saw the biggest monthly increase (+16.7%).
