Affiliate Disclosure

Applicost is free to use. To keep it that way, we earn money from some of the links on the site.

How it works

• Amazon Associates. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product links marked “Affiliate link” go to Amazon search results for efficient alternatives.
• Partner referrals. Where marked, links to electricity plan comparison or solar quote services may pay us a referral fee if you sign up.

These links cost you nothing extra and are always labeled. Affiliate links use rel="sponsored".

Our numbers are independent

Partners never influence our rates, formulas or estimates. Every number comes from the published EIA data and the assumptions on our methodology page.
